The winners of the 2020 Bicycle of the Year election have been announced. The title Bicycle of the Year went to the Batavus Finez. The title E-bike of the Year 2020 went to the Trek Allant + 7. In the category Speed ​​E-bike of the Year 2020, the Gazelle Ultimate Speed ​​380 took the title. In the Road Bike and MTB of the Year categories, the Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi_Mod Disc Dura Ace Di2 and Trek Supercaliber 9.8 were honored. As in previous years, the Awards were presented during the opening of the Bike MOTION and E-bike Xperience bicycle fairs in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The Awards were presented to the winners by the chairman of the RAI Association Steven van Eijck.

Comfort has come first in the development of Batavus' Finez E-go® Power Exclusive bicycle. This has resulted in a maintenance-free and very complete electric bicycle with belt drive. The integrated battery ensures that you hardly see that you are riding an e-bike. The stable frame with a low step-through was developed in collaboration with TU Delft, which has resulted in the most optimal sitting position. The bike features the new dynamic daytime running lights with V-Light and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, while the powerful Bosch mid-mounted motor provides support when you need it. By means of the pedal force sensor, the mid-motor offers support up to 25 kilometers per hour. The bicycle is available with a 400, 500 or 625Wh motor.
